How to fix a grocery issue? Get an unstaffed shop
You are on your way home, it is late, and the supermarket is closed. We have all been there and know the feeling. Fortunately, there is a solution to the issue, and that is an unstaffed container shop open 24/7 all year round.
The shop developed by Retail360 offers 300-400 different items depending on needs and location. The first unstaffed shop is located in Faxe in South Zealand and offers the most basic items you need – from milk and cold cuts to sweets, ice cream, cake, beer, and water. Every day, the shop is filled with new and fresh items.
Stibo Complete has had the pleasure of helping with various materials for the shop. We have been responsible for the production of illuminated signs as well as various window films and aluminium sandwich signs.
But is it not just a container?
No, actually not. The concept is developed and built by Retail360, which specialises in concept development for the retail industry. The container shop concept is part of the company's range of box solutions, where the concept is produced in modules and delivered 95% fully assembled on site.
So how exactly does it work? Actually, it is quite easy. You use your mobile phone to check in by scanning a QR code via an app. Then you find the items you need and scan them, pay with your mobile phone, and check out with a new QR code.
Retail360 expects a great demand for the unstaffed shops, and one more is already one heading for Vejle.
